Study abroad from Nepal: destinations, guides and planning
Compare study destinations, find Nepal-focused guides and use practical planning tools before checking official course and visa requirements.
Compare source-reviewed awards and continue to the official application page.
Review source-linked records by destination, purpose and reporting period. Historical figures do not predict individual outcomes.
A practical starting plan for studying abroad
Choose a course and destination based on your education, budget and career plans. A popular destination is not automatically the right fit: compare course content, provider, entry requirements, total tuition and the time you can realistically spend preparing.
Check the provider and course
Read the institution’s current offer and fee schedule. Use the destination’s official register where one exists, and confirm that the campus and course match the offer you received.
Build a complete first-year budget
List tuition, deposits, visa charges, medical checks, insurance, travel and arrival costs separately. Include the date and source for each estimate; exchange rates and provider fees change. The cost calculator can help organise these figures, but it is an estimate rather than a quote.
Verify each document and visa step
Follow current instructions from your university, Nepal’s education authorities and the destination’s immigration authority. Requirements depend on the course and applicant. Confirm the official page before paying or submitting, and keep copies of what you send.
Start with the destination cards above, then open a published guide when one is available. Historical visa statistics describe past reporting periods and cannot predict an individual application decision.
