Use the Nepal Police portal
Begin at the Online Police Clearance Registration System operated by Nepal Police. Create or access your own account and keep control of the email address or mobile number used for it. Avoid sending identity files to a person who only provides a social-media link.
Prepare matching identity details
Use the spelling, dates and document numbers shown on your passport, citizenship certificate or other identity record requested by the live form. Prepare clear scans before starting. If you need the report for a foreign authority, make sure the identity details match the passport you will use for that purpose.
Submit and retain the reference
Complete every required section, review the uploaded files and submit through the official system. Save the application or reference details shown after submission. Use your portal account to monitor progress and respond if Nepal Police requests a correction or additional information.
Download the issued report
When processing is complete, obtain the digital Police Clearance Report through the official system. Keep the original file rather than relying on a screenshot or a retyped copy. A receiving organisation may use the report's verification details or Nepal Police verification service to check authenticity.
Allow time for additional checks
Applications can take longer when names, dates, travel history or documents need additional checking. The portal is the source for the current form and status. Nepal Answers does not issue police reports and cannot accelerate an application.
