Start with the official checklist
Use the Home Affairs Document Checklist Tool with Nepal as the passport country and your education provider or CRICOS code. The result is an indication; ImmiAccount can request additional attachments for the actual application.
Confirm enrolment and identity
Check that your passport is valid and your personal details match your education records. Home Affairs requires a valid Confirmation of Enrolment when it decides the visa, subject to the rules for the applicant's circumstances.
Arrange health cover
Student visa applicants generally need Overseas Student Health Cover for the required period unless an exemption applies. Record the insurer, cover dates and policy information requested by the form. Include accompanying family members in appropriate cover.
Prepare financial and English evidence
The combined country and provider evidence framework affects what the checklist shows. If financial or English evidence appears as required, attach it when submitting. Home Affairs can still request evidence during processing even when it was not initially listed.
Complete Genuine Student responses
Answer the questions in the online application truthfully and support material claims with evidence. Explain your present circumstances, why this course and provider fit, what you understand about studying and living in Australia, and how the course benefits your future.
Review before lodgement
Check names, course details, dates and uploaded files. Keep a complete copy and payment receipt. This guide does not predict an outcome; Home Affairs assesses each application against current law and the evidence provided.
