Foreign job checks
Guides to checking overseas job information against original sources.
This page gathers published guides. It does not perform a live job or company verification. Use the original authority source linked from each guide.
How to compare an overseas job record
A vacancy listing is a lead to verify, not a promise that a job is still open or that an applicant will be selected. Listings can expire, change or be filled. Confirm the original Department of Foreign Employment record and compare it with the documents supplied to you before paying or handing over original papers.
Match the exact vacancy
Compare the lot or advertisement number, post, destination, employer, recruiting agency, salary and deadline. A similar job title is not enough to prove that two records describe the same opening.
Check the written terms
Read the employment contract for wages, currency, working hours, leave, accommodation, food, deductions, insurance and contract duration. Ask which terms are guaranteed and where each appears in writing.
Confirm before acting
Open the official notice yourself and verify that the agency and record are current. Keep dated copies of the advertisement, contract, receipts and messages in case details later differ.
