Dates are displayed in Bikram Sambat exactly as supplied by PSC. Nepal Answers does not change eligibility, deadlines or vacancy details.
Use this walkthrough to prepare and check your application. The Public Service Commission (PSC) notice and the instructions shown in its live portal decide the current eligibility, required files, fee, payment method and deadline. Read those before you begin.
Find the advertisement on the PSC website. Note the advertisement number, post, service or group, level, open or inclusive category, examination location and both the regular and any late-fee deadline. Open the complete notice and its syllabus or linked instructions, not just a short listing.
Compare every qualification and age condition with your own records. Check which date PSC uses to assess age, whether experience or a professional registration is required, and what proof an inclusive category requires. If one condition is unclear, ask the PSC office named in the notice before paying.
Use the notice’s document list to gather your identity or citizenship record, certificates and transcripts, equivalency decision if relevant, experience evidence, professional council registration where required, and inclusion-category evidence where you are applying under that category.
Scan or photograph each original clearly. Check that names, dates and identifying details are readable and consistent. Keep the originals and a secure copy of every file. File types, image dimensions and upload-size limits can differ; use the limits displayed in the current portal rather than an old guide or screenshot.
Go to the official PSC Online application portal using the link from PSC. If you already have a profile, try that account first instead of creating a duplicate. For a new profile, follow the portal’s current registration steps and use contact details you can access.
Keep your username and password private. Save them in a secure password manager or another private place. Do not give an agent your password or one-time code.
Fill in the personal, contact, education, training and experience sections requested by the portal. Copy details from your official records instead of relying on memory. Enter education titles, dates and institutions as shown on the certificates; add equivalency or registration details only where they apply.
Save each section and resolve any validation messages before moving on. A complete profile may be required before the portal allows you to select an advertisement.
Attach the current photograph, signature and supporting documents requested for the profile or the specific advertisement. Open each uploaded file in the portal preview and confirm it belongs to you, is upright, legible and not cut off. Replace unclear or mismatched files before continuing.
Do not upload extra sensitive documents unless the official form asks for them. Follow the portal’s displayed format and size limits; if a document does not fit, use a clear scan and the permitted file-compression method without making its text unreadable.
Search using the advertisement number and compare the post, service, level and office against the notice. Select the correct open or inclusive group and examination location offered for that vacancy. If the portal lists several similar options, stop and re-check the notice before choosing.
Make a separate application only when the official rules and portal require it. Do not assume one submission covers several posts, groups or advertisements.
Complete every field for the chosen post, including eligibility declarations and any education, experience, licence or inclusion details the form requests. Select only categories for which you meet the notice’s conditions and can provide the required evidence.
Use the portal’s back or edit controls to correct information while the application is still editable. Do not guess at a required answer; check the notice or contact the PSC office listed there.
Check your name, date of birth, contact details, advertisement number, post, group, exam location, uploaded files and declarations against the source documents and notice. Read the declaration or terms shown by PSC. Correct errors now; a saved profile or draft is not necessarily a submitted application.
Only use the final submit action when the preview is complete and accurate. Follow any confirmation screen until the portal clearly records the application.
Use the amount, payment channel, reference number and deadline shown in the official notice and live portal. Check whether your application is under the regular or late-fee period, and confirm any additional fee rules for multiple groups or advertisements in the notice.
After payment, return to the application and confirm that both submission and payment show as received or complete. Save the application number, payment receipt and confirmation page. If money has left your account but the portal still shows pending, check the portal and official help contact before paying again.
Sign back in and check your application status. Read PSC notices for accepted or rejected applications and the process for correcting a rejected form; any response period is set by the notice, so act within the stated time. Keep checking the PSC website for examination dates, centres, admit-card availability, results and later selection stages.
When PSC makes an admit card available, download it from the official account or process and follow the instructions for printing and bringing it to the exam. Submission alone does not confirm that an application has been accepted.
No. A saved profile or draft may only store your information. Follow the vacancy form through its final submit step, complete any required payment, and check that the application is recorded in your account.
Keep the transaction receipt and application reference. Recheck the portal after its stated processing time and use the official support contact in the notice or portal. Do not pay again until you have checked the transaction and application status.
Do not assume you can. Use the preview and edit controls before final submission. After submission, follow the current PSC notice and your application status for any correction process or deadline.
Sign in to the official applicant portal and check the application status. Also check notices on the PSC website. If PSC lists your form as rejected or incomplete, follow the notice’s instructions and response period.
This guide explains a general online application sequence. It does not establish eligibility, guarantee acceptance or replace an advertisement. PSC may change portal screens or instructions; use the current vacancy notice and the live portal when they differ from this walkthrough.
